The Department of Applied Science & English was established in 1988, concurrently with the establishment of the College. Although the department is not offering any programmes, it is engaged in teaching the fundamental courses such as Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Physics, Engineering Chemistry and English for Communication, which helps the students in building a foundation in engineering as well as in improving their communication skills.
